The International Confectionary Art Competition 2010!
Japan winner of the second edition of the International Confectionary Art Competition !
For this 2nd edition, wich took place from 6th to 8th March 2010, 10 teams from all over the world compete together through an intense and complete 21 hour program. On the podium we have in 3rd position the Ukrainian team which distinguished itself by the quality of its artistic pieces. Then in 2nd position, the French team. Despite a sugar piece which broke, they won this place on the podium thanks to the clear superiority of their tasting marks throughout these 3 days of competition. Finally the Japanese team arrived in1st position, winner of this second edition of the International Confectionary Art Competition 2010. Team which provided a consistent quality in their works thanks to the perfect and pure design of their artistic creations.

Discover all the marks of each teams !
You can now access to the marks of the 10 teams who compete together during the International Confectionary Art Competition 2010.
In front of a large and enthusiastic audience,
the members of the jury gave marks to the
achievements both in the tasting, as in the
quality of work and presentation.

The competition was masterly conducted by
Pascal NIAU, Chairman of the Board and
Hideo Yokota, Honorary President. Both of them checked the seriousness and regularity of the marks during these 3 days of competition.

They were helped by the very best of Baking and Pastry
Professionals, as most of them having the status
of "Meilleur Ouvrier de France”.

3 special awards were awarded during this 2nd edition.
3 special awards, based on subjective criteria
such as “fair play”, teamwork, or solidarity
were awarded:
The Special Prize of DGF was awarded to the team of Switzerland by Valérie LEMAITRE, Pastry Chef in
DGF company.
The Special Prize of EUROPAIN was awarded to the team of Morocco by Jean-Paul BROUTIN, Exhibition Manager.
And the Special Prize of “Coup de
Coeur de la Presse” was awarded to the team of Ireland by Anne-Laure CHORAND, Editor of “La
Toque Magazine”.
